A discussion list for New York City synthesizer users with a leaning towards the technology of synthesis and sound generation (not forgetting the music, of course). Emphasis will be on modular synthesizers, homebrew electronics, modification of commercial synthesizers, sound generation toys or otherwise unusual methods of synthesizing or modifying sound. Use of the list will also facilitate in-person meetups for the purpose of synthesizer technology demonstrations, problem solving, and instrument, design, usage and interoperability. |
