Dialog/deliberative and other IT techniques used in ongoing edemocracy experiments in Sweden and around the world are critical to the enhancement of democracy in our respective countries. We are a group of IT/edemocracy practicioners in Sweden who technically or otherwise manage a variety of tools/methods for infusion of more democratic dialog/consultation methods in and to local government and civil society organizations. We also want to interact with edemocracy colleagues in other parts of the world in order to widen our perspectives and thereby improve our own use of various IT platforms and tools.

We are the users of an extinct BBS @ Caracas, Venezuela. This list tends to be an open discussion list. Diverse topics are treated, however mainly focusing on technology related issues. Email, Internet, WWW, AV, Spyware/Adware and also how to fight SPAM. We share computing-related problems and concerns and use the list as a brain storming area in search for solutions and troubleshooting. Most of the posts will be in Spanish. Nonetheless, some of us are English-speakers/readers and from time to time articles on tech trends wrote in English are posted to the list with the main goal of sharing that info that in most cases is the common interest amongst the list’s users.
