This list brings together teachers who are members of the Global Learning Portal from Uganda. The Global Learning Portal uses the power of technology through the Internet to help you participate in global communities of educators without ever traveling abroad. By using the portal, teachers around the world share and collaboratively develop education-focused resources such as lesson plans, reports and case studies using the technology tools like discussion boards, chat rooms, online survey tools and electronic libraries. The Global Learning Portal’s primary goal is to test the effectiveness of using a global web portal to improve the quality of education in resource-scarce areas of the world. |

This list should enable le Alumni (ex-students) of the department of electricity of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technolgy (EPFL,www.epfl.ch) who gratuated in 1976 to keep in contact and to organize a meeting every 5 years, usually at EPFL in Ecublens, Switzerland. But the next meeting is planned in Greece in 2011 for our 35 years of diploma. Our members are located around the world (Switzerland, France, Canada, Greece, ...) and such a list would be of great help. We have also a site: www.elec76.ch. |
