		The Mailing List for Boston University Free Culture. BUFC is a chapter of the Free Culture movement. The list is a place to discuss our digital rights and recent happenings involving legislation regarding the internet and the effect on the lives of university students, as well as to discuss the details of our OpenCourseWare server's progress and status.

		ML for a organic project (done by dutch college-students), used for the organisation, central communication and administration of files. Goal of the project is finding existing syntheses ---whereby carbonchains will be extended--- by literaturestudies and these syntheses will be performed.

		The topic is Bioinformatik/Biosystemtechnik. Because we study Bioinformatik/Bioysytemtechnik (Bioinformatics (computer science?)/Biosystemtechnology) we are learing to use the methods of the informationprocessing for the treatment of biological data sets and for the analysis of proteins or nucleinacid (Nukleinsäuren). And we are learning to model "biological systems" as genes, proteins or cell cultures in order to understand their function and interactions with other moleculs. Biohbyridtechnology is also a part. Microsystemtechnology or Automatisierungstechnology or Physikalische Messtechniques (I don't know the exact english term!) are examples for subjects, which we will have in the course of the study.

		We are a group of 9 students and 1 teacher form a german university. We study Informatik with the topic media. In one lesson, we should create a learn cd for students they are starting with the study. the learn cd should handle all the topics of the informatic with the topic media and technics. for this projekt we need a mailing list and we hope we can need your service for this reason.
		Teaching Certificate
		All students taking the course for the Certificate-Education and the PGCE course at Hull College. The students need to communicate with each other and a mailing list would be the best way.
		The Teacher List
		The Teacher List is a daily listserv that recommends ONE useful website to teachers (and other interested parties) each morning. Only sites that are free and useful are recommended. Teachers typically don't have time to wade through massive amounts of information yet they are required to integrate the use of technology into their daily routines. The service gets teachers to use technology resources in their classrooms by NOT inundating them with pages (or screens) of information that will never be read. Rather, by recommending only one technological feature, teachers can decide if they will keep the information and incorporate it into a lesson, pass it on to someone who can use it or delete it. There is a web site that archives all of the sites recommended since 1998 - and it is fully searchable by keyword, subject and/or grade level. The site is at: http://www.theteacherlist.ca.
