This mailing list is for members of Sandy Hook United Methodist Church Spirit Seekers study group. This group is evaluating technology for improving communication within the church, and for outreach programs. Technologies under consideration include weblogs (blogs) and wiki pages for adult and youth group members. Also under consideration are forums, electronic newsletters, and photo album software. The group believes it is important to encourage youth to join the church, and one way to do so is to build electronic tools that they can embrace. The goal of the adult members of the group is to begin a process that the youth will carry forward and build in their own ways.

This list is to organize and support the historical significance of Louisiana cemeteries and Louisiana cemetery preservation as well as make others aware of an unknown cemetery. Those interested in this list may be genealogists, historians, society members, parish government, churches or community members, those familiar with using remote sensing equipment and GPS in locating cemeteries. (In order to identify cemeteries to USGS for inclusion, GIS coordinates must be given.) Promoting awareness is the first step to preservation.

The British Computer Association of the Blind is a small UK charity which focuses on ensuring visually impaired people can gain access to ICT. We arrange specially adapted training courses, run workshops, provide self help support etc. for our community. While we are a membership organization our services are availableto all visually impaired people, their supporters and possible employers. We produce a newsletter every 3 months which we needto circulate to our membership by email. We also have the need to be able to send announcements to the membership when we organize special events eg. a seminar. (The largest newsletter over the last 3 years was 230 Kb and most were less than 100 Kb).
