[webproducers] html vs text

Got a question, I keep reading that HTML newsletters and e-amils are more
successful than text e-mails but I can't find any hard data or sources for
this info.

Don't worry it's not a spam thing it's for a friend who has a financial
company and insurance business and his customers signup for periodic product
updates and news from him.

Has anyone seen any info on this?

Thanks,

Morry
