Hey,
I hope this set of links helps, I was in your shoes a few months back.
The ones that cost money offer a demo so you can try them out first.
- http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/ - $20-$30, is the most user-friendly
and well-documented, highly configurable, and site has video tutorials.
I like this one the best.
- http://www.softcomplex.com/products/php_event_calendar/ - $29 or free
for non-commercial use, similar to Easy PHP Calendar.
Open-Source Calendar Scripts (free option if you're good with code)
- http://sourceforge.net/projects/ltwcalendar
- http://freshmeat.net/projects/phpcalendar/
