Yes. There is a publishing/export option in Flash, and I've been using it.
The problem is that the published .gif doesn't display any of the animation
that is in the .fla or .swf.
I'm wondering if there is something in the way that it is published, or the
way the .fla is constructed
that is making it publish incorrectly.
Unfortunately we don't have any Flash programmers in-house for me to ask.
D'oh.
