[webproducers] Need advice...

Need your advice...
I have been working for quite some time now but only became a
producer/project manager a little more than a year ago. I'm having
difficulty finding another PM job here in NYC, that doesn't require more
experience. Anyone have any thoughts about what else I can do? So far, I'm
reading up (some programming, general website development...), thinking
about taking classes (but it's expensive), talking to a lot of people, and
also considering working in any web environment, whether as an Exec/Admin
Assistant or interning, just to learn & get more exposure. Your advice is
greatly appreciated.
On a second note, I am also thinking about moving to Vancouver simply for a
better quality of life. I hear so much about the city and would like to
work as a producer/project manager there. Does anyone know about the
specific job market, lifestyle, and especially working visa situation, out
there? I am also doing my own research but again your thoughts are
appreciated.
Hope to meet you all at our get-together... Morry?
Thanks in advance.
- Mary Ann
