i've known biz dev people collect rather handsome salaries plus
commissions if that's their arrangement.
what you can make depends on the size of your roladex and your ability
to close deals. it also depends on the company, what it sells, etc.
if you're selling tools worth $50, you're not going to rake in the
greenbacks unless you cut some massive distribution deal. on the
otherhand, if the company's products sell for $50K, that's a different
situation altogether.
