It's it's MPG or AVI, you can't go wrong with something like Blaze
Media Pro. It does video conversion to WMV and various MPG formats,
includes a full-featured video editor and has a bunch of audio and CD
burning tools all for $50.

Highly recommended for modest multimedia conversion/editing needs.
