if i undestand correctly you want to use something like a photo slide
show to display a sequence of swf's with each swf being a banner ad a
client can choose from.

if that's the case and your shop already creates flash banners, why
not create a player the has forward and back buttons, or thumbnails,
or some other navigation scheme where the content is controlled by
xml.

then just update the xml when needed. the xml would have the file to
display and could have other fields such as notes/comments.
