Complete Description:
Reporting to the Director of Production, the Producer is responsible for
developing and producing event, promotional and sales material for AOL Media
Networks, a division of AOL, Inc. The Producer must be knowledgeable in
Powerpoint and Photoshop and have a base understanding of multimedia and
video programs (Flash, Quark, After Effects, etc.). An expert in marketing
communications, the Producer guides and manages any assigned project from
start to finish through the creative process: conceptualization, writing,
editing, design, and approvals. The producer is responsible for maintaining
consistent messaging and communication with regards to the AOL brand. The
Producer must be able to manage the priority and assignments of individual
production personnel (designers, copywriters, etc.), external vendors
(printers, video houses, etc.) and internal divisions (sales development,
event marketing, brand marketing, etc.) assigned to each project to ensure
the timely and successful delivery of professional materials. Must be able
to manage multiple projects, budgets and resource constraints on a tight
deadline. The ability to multi-task is a must!
