[webproducers] WPO and spam

Hi,

I just had to share this e-mail with everyone because it just cracked me up.
I get tons of spam to the WPO domain but this one made me laugh because WPO
has no website just merely a modest web Page to help members join the list.
This is such a good reminder of how "personalization" efforts fail miserably
because quite frankly, theyr'e not personal. If you can't be personal don't
try to be as it's conspicuous.

I visited your website http://www.webproducers.org/. Found it to be an
informative and interesting place where the readers could browse through
some well composed pages and articles. The information put forth at the
site provides a wonderful insight into your professional organization for
producers and project managers. The discussion list where members discuss
the profession and share ideas, advice and resources for career development
and improving the practice of web project management is very much
indispensable and invaluable for all the producers and project managers.
Overall, a great informative and well made site.

I work in the marketing department of ADDR.com (ADDR.com is a professional
web hosting and web design provider currently servicing over 60,000
customers) and we are currently running a special offer. I want to offer
you 12 months of web hosting absolutely free of charge to give you a chance
to try out our services.

Thanks!
Best Regards,
Andy Roddick
