I'm posting this on behalf of Alanna Stang at cookie magazine. Send replies
to her, not the list

Cookie magazine is looking to hire an experienced web producer to re-launch
and oversee its site, cookiemag.com. The web producer is a senior level
staff position for someone with at least 5 years of related experience.
Magazine experience a plus but not required. Excellent writing and editing
skills are critical; familiarity with HTML and page building is helpful;
knowledge of major computer programs is essential. Responsibilities include
developing a plan with the magazine editors to expand and enrich the site,
both by repurposing existing magazine content and by generating new content;
working with designers and programmers to execute the plan; and
collaborating with subscription, marketing, and promotions departments to
ensure that cookiemag.com becomes a dynamic destination for all things mom
and baby as well as a revenue source. Strong candidates will have good
contacts with designers and programmers, a familiarity with new web trends,
and an understanding of how to leverage video content and blogging to
enhance the site. The producer will work as part of the editorial team in
the editorial office.

To apply, please send resume and cover letter to Alanna Stang, executive
editor, Cookie, 750 Third Avenue, 8th floor, New York, NY 10017 or
alanna_stang@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
