[webproducers] General Inquiry

Hi Folks,
I'm writing to ask for you help finding resources to look for new,
full-time employment - I am not asking you work.
I am aware of the traditional route (i.e. Monster.com, Career Builder,
NY Times) to look for jobs, and I have almost tapped out my personal
network.
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest message boards, web sites, local
groups (in NYC), or any other resources that might help me reach an
untapped network for my field or related industries.
Currently, I'm employed for a non-profit as the Central Web
Administrator for a national, multi-million dollar web portal system.
As a member of this team, I am responsible for the management, training
and coaching of more than 70 site administrators and their websites.
In addition to my full-time job, I am also the web manager for an
advocacy Website. My responsibilities for the Website include content
management, graphic design, and overseeing development. I also serve as
a freelance designer/project manager for a few small business.
I would like to continue working as a web designer/developer, project
manager, or web site manager.
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks.
E
p.s. As I'm always looking for feedback on my resume, I wouldn't mind
critique on that either. I am not attaching it for reasons of
confidentiality but if you feel so generous as to help, please ask and
I'll pass that along.
