United Jewish Communities is a national non-profit organization based in Ne=
w York City that represents and serves 156 Jewish federations and 400 indep=
endent Jewish communities across North America.=20

Ideal candidate
This is a four-month position.=20
Expected start date: May 17th, 2004
Expected finish date =96 on or before September 29th, 2004

The person who holds this position should be a strong writer and editor who=
 is familiar with HTML, Photoshop and other programs necessary to create en=
gaging web content within a template-driven system.  This person must be ab=
le to take direction and to blend comfortably in a high energy service driv=
en department.  Computer graphic design skills are desired (ie. creating im=
ages for e-cards). Familiarity with Judaism and organized Jewish community =
is a plus.

=B7=09Aggregating, cataloguing and tracking material
=B7=09Continuously updating web pages
=B7=09Designing and editing copy for web-based e-zines and newsletters

=B7=09Creating PDFs
=B7=09Creating banners
