Digital Lifestyles: Palm Pilot and the Wireless World
Friday, April 18th, 6:30 to 8:30pm
The New School, 66 West 12th Street, Room 510
Palm Pilot and the Wireless World will cover all the major uses of the Palm
Pilot but will be geared to high end networking and wireless applications used
in the corporate environment. Additional topics include Palm security, all of
the wireless 802.11 standards, Bluetooth, piconets, PANs, LANs, and WANs.
Current examples of corporate implementations of the Palm will be discussed.
The newest handheld models, notably the Tungsten T, the number 1 rated handheld
in PC World is the focus of the evolving corporate environment.

storage devices (PDA's, iPods, CDr's and portable drives) to swap favorite
ephemera or practical applications to enhance your digital quality of life.
Perhaps it's a new handheld application you've just designed, a vintage PDA
app, or perhaps some favorite files stored on your portable hard drive of
choice. Bring your wares to share.
