I don't think that means Kinko's made a profit on that transaction,
though...they offer credit card payment as a convenience, and rightly assume
they'll make enough money on all the transactions above the $.25+3-5%
threshold to offset the transactions like the one you describe above.
It may be a different case where all the products are priced at $0.50; if
every transaction is a money-loser you're unlikely to make it up in volume
:-)
