The 5 o'clock books have an interesting view point on this not too uncommon
condition - where a title and a position don't necessarily match up. They
contend that while it may at first feel dishonest to change
your title, in actuality using the original title is more dishonest since it
only has meaning within that organization. So you may want to use a title like
Programmer/Project Manager, or Hands-on Technical
Project Manager, or something.
