Associate Producer, 3rd Party Content
This Associate Producer is accountable for the scheduling, QA and
publishing of third-party content on Medscape.com, ensuring that the
content is trafficked through the department in a timely and efficient
manner and is published per the established business rules. The
associate producer will work directly with the production and
editorial staff as well as our external publishing partners to define
and ensure adherence to publishing procedures and production standards
as well as publishing priorities. The candidate will monitor the
workflow of content through production and will help to manage the
workload of other members of the production team. The incumbent will
be accountable for checking others' work and maintaining the integrity
of the code and production standards. Fluency in HTML and Photoshop
and familiarity with XML, DHTML and JavaScript are required.=20
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are vital skills for
this position.
Principal Accountabilities
-Set the publishing schedule for third-party content, adhering to
established service level agreements and accommodating the business
needs of our publishing partners
-Work with production associates, assistant technical producers, and
senior staff to maintain publishing schedule and ensure adherence to
style and production standards
-Assist operations manager and director with issues concerning
publishing systems, workflow and volume analyses

Knowledge and Experience
-Proficient in HTML and Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with XML, DHTML

Education:
-BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
