Greetings,
A reminder for those of you that were waiting for the holiday madness to
end-there is still time to sign up for the annual James River Winter Count on
Saturday 12 January 2008. This is our informal survey of the birds of the James
River Park system. Contact me by phone (530.3660) or (off listserv) email to be
assigned a territory. The count typically runs from sunrise to 1030 am ending
with a potluck breakfast supplied by all participants at the home of Mary and
Larry on Landria Drive. Entrance fee is one suet cake/participant.
So if Santa brought you some holiday optics, audio gadgets or fashionable
camo-here is your chance to try them out. Hope to hear from you.
