[va-richmond-general] likely wintering saw-whet owl in Powhatan

Recaptured an young female saw-whet owl this evening in Powhatan, VA that I
banded at the same location 35 days ago on Nov. 25th. It would appear to be a
likely winter resident, at least until Jan
brings rougher weather. Otherwise, most nights recently have not produced any
saw-whets.
