Dear Birders,
Please consider participating in the following study, conducted by Aberdeen
University (Scotland):
www.abdn.ac.uk/birdsong/
The researchers would like to hear from people world-wide with regard to
their experiences hearing bird song (you do NOT have to be a resident of any
particular nation to participate).
Read more about the study here:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/north_east/7118671.stm
Excerpt:
"Researchers at Aberdeen University will spend two years listening to birds
to find out how their songs, calls and cries become a part of people's lives.
'Listening to birds: an anthropological approach to bird sounds" has received
funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).' "
Thank you.

That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all."
