  Three intrepid birders shared cold weather, gusty and biting wind, good 
humor, and several woodland beauties as follows:
  Black and Turkey Vultures (checking out the gut-red bathingsuits!)
  Mallard Duck
  Canada Goose
  Red-tailed Hawk (pair)
  Mourning Dove
  Red-bellied Woodpecker
  Downy Woodpecker (pair)
  Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
  Northern Flicker
  Blue Jay
  American Crow
  Carolina Chickadee
  Tufted Titmouse
  White-breasted Nuthatch
  Brown Creeper
  Winter, Carolina Wrens
  Golden-Crowned Kinglet
  American Robin
  Northern Mockingbird
  White-throated Sparrow
  Dark-eyed Junco
  Northern Cardinal

  This was followed by hot coffee in good company, as a good time was had by 
all!
