Join RAS as we paddle through the fall foliage of this 760 acre millpond
full of cypress and spanish moss. Last trip in the spring we saw 2
alligators. The trip is an easy 98 mile drive from Chester. Bring your canoe
or kayak and plenty of layers, food, water, PFD and other creature comforts.
We will meet @ 0700 at McDonald's at Route 10 and 295 in Chester. Canoe
rentals are available at the park (cheap) but they will not let us reserve
in advance.
