The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is leading the
development of a Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy for the
Commonwealth. This initiative presents a unique opportunity for the
agencies and organizations in Virginia to work together to develop a
common vision and strategy for wildlife conservation.
I encourage you to attend one of the public meetings planned in Richmond
to learn more and share your valuable local knowledge about critical
wildlife and habitat issues, trends and threats facing the Commonwealth.
