[va-richmond-general] river city rapids posts on purple martin roost

Dear Subscribers,
    Jon Baliles the writer that wrote the posts on the  following web sites 
is the brother in law of Steve Osberger a Purple Martin  Conservation 
Association member that has been helping form the resistance  movement against 
the city 
of Richmond to keep them from cutting the trees down  on 17th Street. These 
trees have been used as a premigratory roost for at least  the past four years. 
These posts I thought are very informative and very well  written. Lets hope 
a lot of people read these posts as it would be good both for  the birds and 
the merchants in Shockoe Bottom.
