Appomattox River Company in Farmville, specifically Tom Detrick and Bob Taylor
are donating a brand new Old Town Adventure 139 recreational kayak to the
auction. Mike picked it up this weekend and it is in our garage, The retail
value is about $750.00 min, depending on where you purchase it. I am attaching
a link with all the specs. The kayak is a nice forest green color and is
beautiful. I will transport it to the auction and will transport it back to my
house or to the home of whomever buys it since they most likely will not come
"outfitted" to the auction.
Tom has generously offered advice to the successful bidder on paddling and
storage and will trade the kayak (as long as it has not been paddled) should
the buyer find it does not suit their needs.
