Stopped by Henricus on the way home from work yesterday like I do a few times
each week. The change from last week was the winter wood duck flock has started
to form. no other birds of note in the pond area except for a pileated in the
tree in the back and heard the Kingfisher. There was a huge Osprey at the bluff
area . It might be one sticking around till a long serious cold snap comes.
First Osprey seen by me in a month .One stayed in the Henricus area on the way
to the birdbanding site a few years ago till a January snowstorm.
