I had a quick look for the previously reported Yellow-headed Blackbird today
at Turkey Island Road, Henrico co. No luck of course, but there were still a
number (150 or so) Brown-headed cowbirds in the pasture. The flock was not
easy to observe in between the grass and cows with smaller numbers of birds
arriving every so often. I was there between 12:30pm and 1:00pm.
