What worries me about this bird in the grocery section is this. A few months
back I was in a Kroger's, and there were two starlings in the produce
department. They were walking around in a bin of sundried tomatoes, and I saw
one of
them, excuse me, poop right on the tomatoes. Then they flew off to peck on
some lettuce, where they did the same thing.
I talked to the person working in the produce department, and he told me that
someone has been called to take care of the problem. He seemed totally
unconcerned about these birds pooping on his produce!
I have never shopped there again.
