[va-richmond-general] Birds on the move

As y'all know, I live in an older townhouse community along the Pocoshock
creek. We've got magnificient tall old trees here, and I'm glad because they
attract birds!
And speaking of birds, guess what show up this morning in a maple, just feet
away from the upstairs window? A Red-eyed Vireo! Sure, that's not an
"unusual" bird, but it is a little odd to see one so close in by the townhouse
units. I usually only see them over by our little lake or back in the little
park adjacent to the back of the community. Then a Northern Flicker swooped
in, followed by Robins, a Downy Woodpecker, Blue Jays and...sparrows!! I
didn't get to ID which kind (I'd already put the binocs down and they flew off
before I could see).
It's so nice that the birds are coming in close, and I'm wondering if the
overnight weather change helped that along?
