Birding is a little slow around the yard of late but the garden is hanging on and the butterflies are taking advantage of the flowers. I have been watching a chrysalis for just over a week now-this morning a big surprise as the beautiful Monarch emerged. I was able to watch the end of the "hatch." Incredible! Also including a photo of a fledgling Grey Catbird hopping around the garden last weekend.
