A perfect day to paddle Harrison Lake with a warm breeze and cloudless sky.
Signs of fall are everywhere with yellow leaves dropping from the Tupelo Gum
and Canada Geese honking in formation. The water was way, way up so
navigating in the back section was cake. Highlights:
Red-shouldered Hawk
Osprey
Bald Eagle
Great Egret
Great Blue Heron
Green Heron
Spotted Sandpiper
Red-Bellied Woodpecker
Downy
Pileated
Yellow-shafted Flicker
Canada Geese
....and the other usual woodland residents.
