[va-richmond-general] Baird's Sandpiper-no

Yesterday afternoon I tried for the Baird's Sandpiper on 
Leonard's Pond near Bridgewater,last reported on the 
va-listserv Aug 28. I found about 40 Killdeer, 20 Least 
Sandpipers, 3 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 1 Solitary 
Sandpiper, 3 Short-billed Dowitchers and a Wood Duck but no 
Baird's Sandpiper. I'd wait for further confirmation before 
making the trek from Richmond.
