Addition to "True South" in today's Flair section of the Richmond
Times-Dispatch: You know you're in the deep south when you hear, "I saw a male

Great Blue Heron 1 (Bird took its time trying to swallow a catfish the correct
way-head first and was successful.)
Red-tailed hawk sitting patiently in a dead tree.
Rock pigeon (One with distinctive black and white markings on the body and
white wings. Looked like a homing pigeon.)
