Friends have noticed my new birding interest and brought back a birdhouse made 
from a large gourd with a hole inside.  I thought it was too late for birds to 
nest, but I've seen the posts lately on wren nests.  Is it too late to put it 
out in the city?  If so, where do I put it?  Would they come to my deck or is 
that too close to the house?  Do I need to put it on a tree?  What kind of 
birds might I attract?  I don't have really good tree candidates, but might be 
able to find a spot where I could still see the birds.  Thanks.
