I know this is somewhat off-topic, but since it affects shore birds, I thought
it might be of interest to some people. I promise to be brief.
I wrote a letter recently to the Delaware state government concerning the
lack of adequate protection for horseshoe crabs in Delaware. They are going to
have a public hearing on June 23rd on this issue and public comments will be
accepted until June 27. Anyone wishing further information and/or the entire
e-mail I received, please contact me OFF THE LISTSERV and I will be happy to
e-mail it to you. Until then, good birding and have a great summer!
