Hello Birders,
After reading about all the excellent birds in at 42nd. St. last week, I was
finally able to get down there today. I made a lunch time visit and had a
great hour and a half. Top birds for me were - EASTERN SCREECH OWL in roost
hole; it was still there this evening at 6:30 when I took my kids down to
have a look. Also 11 species of warbler including, BAY-BREASTED, WILSON'S,
BLACKBURNIAN, MAGNOLIA, and CANADA (singles of each).
Bandy Field was very quiet this morning, but it was very overcast.
Thanks to all who posted for JRP last week and finding some great birds.
