I made it over to Angela's house yesterday afternoon and took a few
images of the birds nesting. It was like Mutual of Omaha - during the
hour I watched on her back porch, we saw one of the two hawks swoop down
and catch a snake, and then proceed to feed the little ones. And all of
this right in her backyard. I am quite envious!
The images are here, for anyone who would like to browse them:

Good morning,
Don't know if you are interested, but we have new babies in our
backyard! From looking at my bird book, I believe they are Broadtail
Hawks. We now have 3 babies that are starting to stand up in the nest.
As I am totally a novice, I wanted to notify you in case they are
endangered or rare.
If you would like to study or see them, we live in Mechanicsville, and I
would welcome your members.
Sincerely,
Angela Ward
