Blue-grey gnatcatchers calling in the yard, snazzy looking goldfinches hanging
on the thistle sacks and a Wood ducks flying back and forth. So far we have the
foundation of a bluebird nest in one box, 3/4 of a chickadee nest out back and
a completed Thrasher nest in the Pyracantha.
Bleeding Hearts are up about 4 inches as are the Peonies and Allium. Great to
listen to the chorus of birds in the morning-including the Red-bellied drummer
on the gutters.
