Nine participants braved the cold morning for a brief visit to Rockwood 
followed by a more leisurely visit to Pocahontas.  We missed the Louisiana 
Waterthrush at Rockwood (Darrell Peterson had seen it earlier in the morning) 
but were rewarded with outstanding looks at one below the Beaver Lake Dam in 
Pocahontas.  We also saw a Pine Warbler at its nest. Traveling between 
Rockwood and Pocahontas, some of us had a close look at a Turkey Vulture 
feeding on a road killed Opossum on the side of Spring Run Road.

This afternoon I went to Henricus to try and relocate the Glossy Ibis that 
Larry Lynch had reported earlier.  I did not find it, and Larry and Lauren 
Scott returned while I was there; as of 2:45 PM when I left, we had not found 
it.
