Ben and I went to the Eastern Shore over the weekend.
Highlights:
Robins, Juncos, Thrasher, Phoebes, Common Yellowthroat
and Chipping Sparrow on CBBT islands
Great Cormorants on islands #1 and 2
Common Eiders on #1 and 2
Black Necked Stilts at Chincoteague
Snowy Owl at Chincoteague
Piping Plovers at Chincoteague
It was a treat to find a Snowy Owl and Piping Plovers within feet of each
other.....Hope Snowy Owls don't eat Plovers!
