All this winter we've kept 2 peanut butter feeders filled for the birds. One
thing that surprised us was that bluebirds like peanut butter and suet cakes
and while we've grown accustomed to seeing them at the feeder we were
surprised today to see a pine warbler eating at it. It made a few trips to
the feeder, when the grackles/starlings/cowbirds weren't there, and then
left.
Linda and I were at our property this evening hoping to hear woodcocks but
instead were serenaded by a pair of great horned owls.
