Another cold gloomy morning, no Yellow-throated Warblers yet and the 20 or  
so Swamp Sparrows, which were there Friday, appear to have gone.   Highlight 
was a pair of Common Mergansers on the river, seen from the  bluffs.  Thanks to 
my friends Laura Dooley and David Humble for picking up  these, also to Laura 
for picking up the newly arrived Chipping Sparrows in the  historic area.
