Subject: Curles Neck
About 12 people joined us for a nice outing today at Curles Neck farm. We had
a brief period of drizzle, then a lovely sunny day, but had to buck the wind,
which may account for several species staying hunkered down. The best birds of
the day were the numbers of Bald Eagles - at least 8 different individuals. We
also had brief looks at Great-Horned Owl, and I only caught a glimpse of the
Barn Owl before is tucked its body away. Nice to know it's still there.
Otherwise, no unusual species were noted. Darleen Jarry Stigall
