[va-richmond-general] Drama this morning

We live on a lake which in addition to the wild waterfowl, also hosts a small
population of introduced domestic ducks. This morning, an adult Bald Eagle
made repeated passes at one of the white ducks; the duck dove at every pass.
At the same time, an American Crow was harassing the eagle! The eagle struck
repeatedly at the surface of the water but the duck was out of reach.
Eventually the eagle gave up and flew off leaving one very lucky and breathless
duck.
