[va-richmond-general] Great Horned Owl ....

hooting softly right outside our bedroom window in rural Doswell at 6am,
sitting full out on a dead limb and back-lit against the reddening sky - until
our
resident crows appeared and raucously drove the GHO away. Perhaps it's why we
haven't been hearing our resident Barred Owls this year. GHO's have been
extremely uncommon here over the years.
