Hi,
For two days in a row I have seen what I believe are six anhingas on the pond 
in our development.  A muskrat disturbed them and they took to flight which 
allowed me to see one at very close range.  I went home and looked it up and 
that's what it looked like to me.  The pond is in front of the golf course club 
house in the Wyndham development off of Nuckols road in Glen Allen.  I thought 
they were loons at first but they were sitting much deeper than loons.  Very 
exciting for me anyway.
Just thought you might like to know.
